It is never too early to get your child on the path to a lifetime of optimal oral heath and stellar dental hygiene habits. Our Homestead family dentist, Dr. Robert Cuckler, and his team of staff have created an environment that is comfortable for the whole family and that your child will love to come visit. We have combined our friendly attitude with our experience and talent in the field of family dentistry to create an office that is conducive to great oral health for all ages. We would like to provide you and your child with the tools you need to educate your child about oral health and hygiene and how to maintain it throughout the rest of his or her life. We will guide you and your child through all of the beginning stages of development, such as when your child begins to get teeth, when teeth fall out, when orthodontics may be necessary, dental cavities and fillings, and any other dental issues that may arise.
At our Homestead family dentist’s office, we stress the importance of education and prevention. Each time your child visits Dr. Cuckler, he will educate your child about how to best take care of his or her teeth and smile, and will teach about certain dental issues that can develop due to neglect of oral hygiene, all while maintaining the light and fun atmosphere that children love to be a part of. As parents, it is important to make oral hygiene a priority for your children, and also to monitor your children’s diets accordingly, as food and eating habits can greatly affect your child’s teeth and mouth. Avoiding sugary and sticky foods is a good way to prevent cavities and tooth decay in children and adults. It is also best to encourage eating meals and snacks at set times rather then stretching meals or snacks out through the day to keep your children’s teeth in the best health.
Our Homestead family dentist, Dr. Cuckler, recommends that your child (and you!) come visit for a professional cleaning and examination at least twice a year. If you are ready to schedule an appointment for you or your child, you may so do by calling our office and speaking to one of our friendly staff members, or visiting our website to request an appointment time. We hope to see you and your child soon.
